Building Department
NOTICE: The Building Department will be changing its hours to 7:00AM to 4:00PM beginning on Monday, February 2nd. Limited staff will be available until 5:00PM during the week of the 2nd, with a full staff transition to the new hours beginning the week of February 9th.
The Building Department is responsible for:
- Issuing permits for demolition, new construction, renovation, and land disturbance
- Performing inspections on all building components, including structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.
- Overseeing the planning, zoning, variances, and special use exceptions for the City
