Spring Clean Up Day
Join us Saturday April 25 for our annual Spring Clean Up Day, co-sponsored by Keep Saraland Beautiful. We will meet at the Public Works Facility at 150 Station Street, Saraland Alabama from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. Saraland residents only please, identification will be required.
Acceptable items:
Yard debris, bulky household items, automotive batteries, motor & cooking oil (5 gal limit), antifreeze, paint (limit 5 gals) tires (limit 4 passenger / light truck tires with no rims).
Unacceptable items:
Large appliances (refrigerators, freezers, etc. unless refrigerant has been professionally removed and tagged), aerosol cans, mineral spirits, propane tanks, welding tanks, pesticides or lawn treatment chemicals, hazardous or medical waste.
Electronics
Flat screen televisions, monitors. No CRT monitors/TVs. Computer hard drive destruction will be offered ($3.00 for no certificate / $6.00 for certificate of destruction).
Shred-it will be onsite for complimentary shredding of personal documents (limit of 2 banker boxes per vehicle).
